Department of Chemical Engineering
Chemical engineers are helping to create processes and products that affect all areas of our lives — such as developing new therapies to treat disease, creating biodegradable materials, cleaning water, designing battery systems and generating energy. The Department of Chemical Engineering offers a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering, which can prepare you for careers in sustainable energy, materials engineering, biotechnology, product development, and more. Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering
Offering bachelor's degrees in Industrial Engineering, as well as BSE with concentrations in advanced manufacturing, engineering management, mechatronics and robotics, the IME Department helps prepare you to design, analyze and improve the systems that drive manufacturing, healthcare and other applications. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
This department offers several types of engineering degrees: bachelor’s degrees in computer or electrical engineering and engineering master’s degrees in computer or electrical engineering. The co-op model

The Dean
Dr. Scott E. Grasman was appointed Dean of the College of Engineering in December 2022, following a six-month interim appointment. Previously, Grasman served for five years as Professor and Department Head of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering.
As Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Grasman oversees Kettering University’s engineering programs that have an impressive legacy and national reputation for producing highly successful graduates. He focuses on developing new and exciting opportunities for Kettering students so they can succeed in rapidly changing industries.
Grasman holds expertise in workforce planning, production/logistics systems, alternative energy infrastructure modeling/simulation, and engineering education.
